Reach the take off

Paragliding Season in Varkala

The best times for flying on the Cliffs of Varkala is from mid-December to the end of March. We are open from October to end of April because some years the winds conditions can be good even these months however if you want to fly outside of the peak season please let us know.

Flight timing

The coast of Varkala is on the front of the south west coast. The best sea breezes start from 12.30pm so we aim to be are ready at the same time. Every days are different so we never know at what times exactly we start to fly, once your booking is confirmed we will keep you informed with regular contact up to the time of flight.

Booking

If we have availability, we ask a advance payment of 2000Rps/flight. After getting the payment, your flight(s) is booked.

Take Off

After a safety briefing and final equipment check you and your pilot will walk slowly towards the sea and a few moments later you will be in the air - simple ! Sit back in the harness and enjoy, some people like to chat through their experience, some like to just take in the scenery - just let us know what would make you more comfortable.

Landing

At the end of the flight a few meters (3 or 4m) from the ground your pilot will ask you to stand up. When you will touch the ground you will have just to keep standing up - as simple as take off !
